Title: Automotive Technician (Specialized in Volkswagen, Audi & Porsche)

Description: A & P Specialties is looking for a technician who can diagnose and repair simple and complex automotive issues and perform routine maintenance tasks for our client’s vehicles. Our company offers a competitive salary and benefits.

  • Diagnose vehicles based on observational and mechanical testing as well as information provided by the customer
  • Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and alert customers to issues that will prevent their vehicles from passing inspection
  • Describe the vehicle’s condition to the customer and answer any follow-up questions
  • Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety
  • Knowledge of workflow is a plus.


Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience performing automotive repair service specialized in Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen.
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment required to conduct all repairs
  • Have your own tools, or the ability to acquire them
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools required
  • Ability to lift at least 50lbs. repeatedly
  • High school diploma/GED required; ASE certification preferred

Valid driver’s license required

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills as you'll be working with our customers on a daily basis
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and problem-solve when needed
  • Experience and knowledge in a related role
  • Ability to work with us as a team with our technicians and then customers to properly communicate appointment setting, the status of vehicle repairs, pricing of services, warranty information, etc.
