Founder and owner Alan Blanchard began his automotive career back in 1972 when hired as an apprentice technician at Gateway Porsche / Audi. He learned his trade on the job and also took classes through Riviera Motors Wholesale, the Porsche and Audi distributor. In 1985, he ventured out on his own, opening A & P Specialties at the current location on 82nd Avenue. Ever since then, through hard work the repair center has grown, employing 3 full time technicians and a service manager. Alan enjoys helping his clients and loves sharing his knowledge with his technicians on “classic” Porsches.
